My current work has been influenced by my utilitarian ideas of art making. I have become interested in the three-dimensional art forms, which hold more of an engaging and direct experience within the creative process. I would like to explore these processes further and find a way translate this aesthetic into my two-dimensional work.

I am currently teaching fourth grade literacy and science in Charlotte, North Carolina. I recently completed my graduate studies at Michigan State University.
